Welcome,
We are an established social group of Christians who are either single, widowed or divorced,
most of whom live in the West Midlands. Several others from further afield join in order to
attend our weekends away.
We run or attend about two events per week on average and well over a hundred people enjoy a wide range of activities. Harvesters is neither a business nor a dating agency but just a group of friends and acquaintances who get together for various activities. We aim to encourage one another.
Such a range of activities has included restaurant meals, orienteering, canoeing, sailing, snow-skiing and tobogganing, horse-riding, indoor rock climbing, mountain walking, local walks, barn dancing, concerts, musicals; also Christian events like Spring Harvest, Keswick Convention, Easter People, Watchmen Gatherings, performances by Saltmine, Nia, New English Christian Orchestra, All Souls Orchestra, Christian Music Ministries, etc.
Also we have had barbecues, weekends away, historic homes visits, games and pudding evenings, ten-pin bowling, ice-skating, theatre trips, pizza and film evenings, day visits, public display visits, food and folk nights, bring and share meals at individual's homes. We have had short breaks in Wales, the South Coast, the Lakes, the New Forest, Devon, the Yorkshire Dales, etc.
